Almost every area around the world has wild cats and that's true for Alaska and Canada as well. The Lynx is a beautiful creature with luxurious soft fur, big paws and big ears. They are incredible to watch when they can be spotted. Their fur coats are like camoflage and blend into their mountainous habitat. This drawing was inspired by the great outdoors and the unique wildlife in Alaska. Alaska artist Abby VanCannon used lots of layers of swirls and squiggles to create the form and texture of this drawing. The unique approach creates an interesting texture and organic feel. The drawing is inside the shape of Alaska map and makes the perfect travel momento and keepsake. The colors are soft and light hued. The subtle brown, tan, gray colors will compliment most every room color.
 
Each pieces is printed  in the USA on thick fine art paper with a subtle watercolor texture. Vibrant colors are achieved using a 7 dye based inkjet system and are certified archival quality. Each piece is packaged with a cardboard backing and cellophane plastic sleeve to ensure protection during shipment. They are packaged in house to ensure the quality of each print.
