Forget Me Not flowers are a delicate blueish purple flower and the state flower of Alaska. They often grow in groups and can cover a hillside. They are a beautiful addition to spring bouquets and flower arrangements. Fiddlehead ferns are also a sign of spring. The early spring ferns are still curled creating a beautiful organic curve. Many people harvest and eat them. They make a wonderful earthy sautted side to any dinner.
 
The artwork was created by Alaska artist Abby VanCannon. 
The drawing is digital and was created on Procreate using a pencil setting. Abby uses layers of colorful scribbles to created the shapes and details. The intricate linework creates soft organic textures and dynamic images. She often leaves her backgrounds white creating a clean and modern feel to her work. The floral art print is a perfect addition to any room and would pair nicely with the fireweed stem art print. 
 
This giclee print was printed in the USA on thick fine art paper with a subtle watercolor texture. Vibrant colors are achieved using a 7 dye based inkjet system and are certified archival quality.
